saarVV transport network
The price of the reduced ticket is calculated according to the number of zones entered in addition to the Saarbrücken 111 and Völklingen 191 zones. On indirect journeys, each zone you travel into counts. Each zone only counts once, though, however many times you enter it. Tickets can be bought at ticket machines and from the bus driver. Checks are carried out to ensure that the correct information has been entered on the back of the ticket. FreizeitCARD holders are required to enter the date (and, in the case of the 24-hour ticket, the time) on the back of the ticket when it is first used. If this information is missing or if the name on the FreizeitCARD does not match that of the holder then a €40.00 fine is liable to be paid. saarVV price regulations and conditions of carriage apply. Ticket costs cannot be reimbursed.

24-hour card
The 24-hour card can be used for 24 consecutive hours within the season starting from the first time it is used. Example: if your card is used at an attraction for the first time at 2pm on 3 April, you can use the card until 1.59pm on 4 April.
3-day card
The 3-day card can be used on any three days within the season, which means that you decide which days you want to use the card. This could be, for example, 3 April, 16 June and 20 October. You can of course use the card on three consecutive days if you want to, but this is not a requirement. The card becomes active the first time it is used at one of the participating organisations.
6-day card
The 6-day card can be used on any six days within the season, which means that you decide which days you want to use the card. This could be, for example, 3 April, 16 June, 27 July, 8 August, 25 September and 20 October. You can of course use the card on six consecutive days if you want to, but this is not a requirement. The card becomes active the first time it is used at one of the participating organisations.
